Experience

Hands-on robotics and mechatronics work, from a founding role at 120ft Factory to research at KTH, LIG and NTU.

Apr 2026 – Present

Founding Engineer

120ft Factory · Stockholm, Sweden

First robotics hardware engineer in the company, working on dexterous manipulation.

  • Explore and design end effectors for assembly tasks, with a focus on grippers and tools.
  • Happily in charge of all hardware-related problems in the company.
  • Simulate the robot assembly line in Isaac Sim, with the simulated robot wired up to mirror the physical hardware.
  • Built a Real2Sim pipeline that automates turning CAD models into simulation-ready assets, solving the tricky parts around collision meshes and physics.

Master's Thesis Researcher

Robot Design Lab, KTH Royal Institute of Technology · Stockholm, Sweden

Thesis on experimental parameter estimation and electromechanical modelling of a smart servomotor for robotic applications.

  • Designed and built custom test setups to characterise the electromechanical behaviour of a smart servo.
  • Troubleshot and debugged hardware, sensors and wiring to ensure reliable, high-fidelity measurements.
  • Collected and analysed sensor data to estimate parameters, followed by numerical optimisation.
  • Implemented, verified and validated dynamic models in MATLAB, Simulink and Simscape.

Feb – May 2022

Research Engineer Intern

LIG – Grenoble Informatics Laboratory · Grenoble, France

Research project on advanced prototype integration of a tangible user interface.

  • Engineered a miniaturised, transformable device for parameter control, applying DFM, precision engineering and GD&T.
  • Assembled mechanical components, integrated electronics, and ran testing and troubleshooting on experimental hardware.

Sep 2020 – Jun 2021

Undergraduate Research Assistant

National Taiwan University · Taipei, Taiwan

  • Conducted computational research on the Resurrected Vortex Method applied to airfoil flow.
  • Used numerical analysis and fluid mechanics to model complex airflow behaviour.
